Family friendly cottage on serene Bass Lake located in Elk Rapids. At the cottage guests can enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming, bonfires, and numerous yard games . There are several public beaches on Grand Traverse Bay a short distance from the cottage and the area abounds with nature trails, a movie theatre, tennis, basketball, and pickle ball courts, shopping, restaurants, and more.. Centrally located between Traverse City and Petoskey for yet more adventures.

What a wonderful place to stay and to watch a beautiful sunrise from the screened in porch. Everything you could need and extras you don't normally find like kayaks and bikes. Great host, great place! We will be back.

Relaxing stay. So many amenities! Waterfront with dock on Bass Lake. Kayaks, canoe, life vests. Many bikes (several with quick release adjustable seats), bike helmets, campfire cooking accessories. Basketball hoop. Kayaks, canoe, life vests. Screened in porch. Lots of parking space. Private quiet road. Great for families. Open concept kitchen, dining, living room. Dining table seats at least 8, great for game nights. Well equipped kitchen. Central AC with ceiling fans. Meijer superstore 20 minute drive. Recommend bug spray for evenings outdoors. Bike to ice cream, restaurants and shops in downtown Elk Rapids about 1 mile away. Torch Lake close by. Enjoyed our stay.

The house is well appointed and very comfortable. Amy is very responsive. We love the setting on Bass Lake. It’s quiet and peaceful. Also the bass fishing was excellent!
